See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiWnDJkjJYc

It is using the old UI, but the principle is the same

If Freetobe is on TS, poke him!

He is a pro with best value hardware.

But then again, he would tell you you are crazy and that you should get a desktop for gaming.

Just make him understand that you travel a lot.

For GW2 in particular you do not need a serious GPU, then again GTAV has some requirements to look decent.
CPU on the other hand... With good single core performance

Was there no change in how long admins are in for?
Nope, people voted 3 months

Can't comment on activity, however just want to point out, that candidate signup is scheduled to start on Jan 6.

From my understanding, the website + ts developed alongside the fb + twitter page, while the website + ts took a more wvw oriented approach to the game, the fb + twitter took a more all around approach to the game.

Glad to see the fb page is till active ^^

Issues & Enquiries / Re: api key verification problem
« on: October 20, 2016, 20:28:20 »
Hello, im trying to get full access, but when i enter my api key (with all permissions) i get an error message that says i need a lvl 80 character to join. What can i do? (obviously i already have a lvl 80 char :| )
Welcome!

How did you name your API key ? If you don't do like in the guide, then there might be problems with the full verification. Make sure it's called:
Quote
FarShiverpeaksAPIKey-XXXX
The XXXX is string(key) what you need to name. Your XXXX you can find HERE.
Actually none of that matters if it says something like that. As it means it accepted the api key and fetched the data from it

Could you pm me your api key? i will check it out

Sorry, fell asleep in my chair xD (long night/day)

Anyway issue should be fixed now, there was a caching issue where if a certain type of music bot connected, it would think users of the same type was also a music bot, owned by the original music bot owner and check if the original music bot owner ip matched the ip of the user joining the ts

Heads up
Server group revoked with the API method
Removed the old API key and generated a new one :

Service Link Status
Service   Service Link
GuildWars 2   jdkL.xxxx
Website   Nirnee
Teamspeak

It would recognize my TS id before changing the API key, but would still revoke my server group assignment.
It still recognizes your id, but when you change your API key, it refreshes the cache and removes the old cached name. I guess it doesn't really have to, but for now i have just changed it to say that it doesn't have the name cached. Will probably change it later.

As long as it doesn't in red say "Not Linked" you are good :)

Also people putting their API key gets refused or something ..
Anyone you can referere me to? might just be the same old, people forgot they had a second account with the api key already but maybe not. (Or maybe people entering their api key name as their api key, that one is a classic :) )

Just created new gw2 accounts both for fsp, linked and not linked worlds, all work fine, both for ts only linking and forum+ts linking

Linked user's can now verify themselves using the GW2 API

In addition, the verification system has been overhauled and now support user's verifying themselves without creating a forum account (however not recommended due to key management being harder that way)

The UI has also been updated using Material Design Lite too, hopefully will make it easier for players to figure out how it works

You can go to https://farshiverpeaks.com/index.php?page=gw2integration to see what your current't linking status is and check it out for yourself

Kinks still needed to be worked out, but was decided wasn't important enough to delay any longer
  • Going from a Teamspeak only link to a Teamspeak / Forum link is problematic
If you find any other issues, feel free to report them to me

If it is something people want, i will look into it later, right now there are some things i need to implement with the ts bot first, in relation to the temporary access. Also need to change some stuff with the api lookup process

suggestion can we have chat box? its seems people rather have some sort of chat box give the option to turn on and off.
Could you elaborate more on this? not sure what the difference is from the shoutbox

I think its more interesting that the screenshot is not from our point of view, but the enemy one + that nonoiclean is talking like he isn't even on the server :P (your commander, you guys are known for, ''because he wasnt originally farming us, i was killing his players, so he built the AC.'')
This is the smacktalk subforum, he isn't from fsp
