So with the introduction of guild arenas in our guild halls it might be a fun idea to introduce a quarterly or yearly GvG tournament.
A number of guilds could qualify and then compete in a knock out tournament in a guild arena for a prize.
Could be fun!
Could even be streamed/recorded and turned into a YouTube vid or something.

That is actually a very nice idea indeed :)
+1 :) Im up for it.

to be honest would be nice, but arenas at the moment are quite bugged
In order to invite somebody to arena you have to stay in his party (or he get kicked )
full dead cannot be ressurected or waypoint
Arena is quite small for 20 vs 20
12 vs 12 would be best for the current arena size

Noticed you guys had the arena, but when its not so buggy anymore we can have that 10-10 GvG arena since you say 12vs12 is best for this size. Then I think 5x2 parties for each team competing against another guild, then we should be able to have a bit more signups since it only requires 10 players :)

Does the arena allow for spectators?
Kind of like how people can go to Obsidian Sanctum and watch?

Yes off course you can spectate.
